On Tuesday, 9 December 2025, the PAP community came together in the Physics Mensa for a warm and cheerful evening of Glühwein, Christmas cookies, and karaoke to close out the year.

The event followed our successful 2^nd Poster & 1‑Minute Talk Session, giving PhD students and postdocs the perfect chance to unwind and celebrate the end of the semester together. With steaming mugs of Glühwein (in everyone’s own cups!) and tables filled with homemade cookies, the atmosphere was cozy and full of laughter.

A clear highlight of the evening was the Christmas Cookie Competition, where participants showcased their baking talents. The winning treats earned well-deserved prizes - and plenty of compliments! As the night went on, karaoke performances brought the crowd together for a mix of classic sing-alongs and spontaneous duets, rounding off the event on a joyful note.

A big thank you to everyone who joined, baked, sang, and helped organize this celebration. What a wonderful way to end the year - full of community spirit and holiday cheer!
