On Thursday, 11 of June 2026, we held our fourth General Assembly in Neuer Hörsaal 1, bringing together PhD fellows (and for the first time a curious postdoc!) from across the department.

The assembly began at 5:00 PM with a review of the past year’s activities, followed by updates on the association’s finances. Elections were held to fill vacant board positions, and several enthusiastic PhD students stepped up to join the team. The meeting concluded with an outlook for the upcoming year and an open floor for various topics raised by attendees.

Following the assembly, we gathered on the roof terrace for a BBQ. We enjoyed beers, aperol spritz, grilled miso eggplant, and lots of meat. It was a fantastic opportunity for new PhD students to meet their peers and for everyone to enjoy the summer evening together.

A big thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to the discussions and to those who helped organize the event. We’re looking forward to an exciting year ahead!
